Coming soon: A Practical Guide to Social Media for Small Businesses - Workshop

Great news everyone, for those of you that missed it, those of you who had better things to do on Valentine’s Day when the last workshop was held, I will be delivering this workshop again.

Yep, they asked me back! Who would have thought it? So, keep your eyes peeled for the confirmed date in May 2019. If you are interested, please drop me an email to register interest and I will of course message you when the date is finalised so you can put me in your diary.

Workshop Synopsis: A Practical Guide to Social Media for Small Businesses

This isn’t a how to set up a Twitter page from scratch, step-by-step kind of workshop, but more of a tricks and tips to make social media work for you and your small business. You can spend a lot of time tinkering around on social media, but it needs to be worthwhile right?

You…

  • You might be thinking about setting up social media accounts for your business and trying to figure out which ones will work best for you.
  • You might have no idea what to post! Why would what you do be of interest to anyone, and how can you make it more interesting?
  • You may have social media accounts up and running and be disappointed by the level of interaction or find that every time you log in to make an update something has changed or moved.
  • You might find social media a complete chore and be losing interest.

This workshop will…

  • Ask if you’re using your time and energy on the right channels.
  • Give you ideas to boost your presence and interactivity.
  • Guide you on growing your online audience.
  • Discuss the importance of organic (free) and paid for (advertising) growth on social media.
  • Explore what’s new.
  • Give you practical tips and tools to take away and make changes quickly and easily.

The workshop will take place at the Royal Latin School School in Buckingham, set your sat nav if you aren’t familiar with it’s location, the school is down a little lane off the main road leading into the High Street, in between Buckingham Secondary School and Sainsbury’s Local.

The lovely folks at Creation Education who invited me to speak will be running a range of workshops specifically for small businesses, solopreneurs and business minded folk in Buckingham. Keep your eye on their Insta feed to find out more.
