I have been working with a company who manages a portfolio of properties, which they rent out on a very short term lease basis. I've been working for this company for more than 6 months now.
This particular role has involved recruiting housekeeping and cleaning staff as well as an office based PA. My role on behalf of the client has included writing the job adverts, posting them, managing an inbox of applications, scheduling and conducting initial telephone interviews and shortlisting candidates. Then, arranging video and face to face interviews with the business owners. I have also spent time crafting social media posting, targeting both landlord and tenants. Using Facebook groups for the purpose of recruitment as well as tenants.
I have been involved in creating presentation documentation for landlords and potential large scale tenant groups.
I have conducted market and competitor research, creating reports for owners and potential investors.
These VA tasks have also involved selection and appointment of a digital agency, project management of a new website market. Investigating the availability of domain, a new company name and brand. Overseeing digital agency set up the Google my business account and creation of a new logo.
I have been hands on with sourcing and editing web terms, writing descriptions for property listings and all web pages, collating property details and imagery.
I carried out a review of current suppliers for all other digital and marketing initiatives to ensure that they are cost-effective and up-to-date.
The future of this project will involve the set up and management of social media accounts to coincide with the launch of the new website.
