I work as a Virtual Assistant associate to a digital creative agency, I support with work on their social media and copy for their website as well as working with their clients.
I'm currently working with one particular client to produce social media posts for Facebook, this includes:
- searching for stock imagery
- writing copy
- creating a schedule for approval
- managing client feedback and amends
- making blog and content recommendations
- identifying relevant trending topics and and hashtags
- reviewing the analytics of previous posts
- looking at competitor feeds
- shortening links
- scheduling posts.
I create a content plan mid month to launch at the beginning of the month with two stages of approval so the client doesn't have to worry about down time on a Facebook account. This particular client has been keen to raise awareness of services, maintain good levels of footfall, generating appointments and bookings through the use of social media.
After an initial face to face briefing meeting and consultation, we were able to agree on the style of the imagery, the messaging to make sure it fits in with the client’s website and Instagram account which the client manages in-house, and how to move the partnership forward. Regular contact between the agency and the client means that I receive any necessary updates but generally have all contact on a virtual basis to ensure the quality of the posts and that everything is delivered on time. This works by holding regular catch ups between the agency and me, as well as access to the agency GSuite and email inbox to liaise with the client.
My goal is to help small businesses to do what they do best, when they don't have time to carry out the behind the scenes tasks, that's what I am here for.
