Manging your business profile on Google
Google Business Profile was previously known as Google My Business, it still serves the same purpose which is to allow you to claim or setup your business listing, add descriptions (SEO), location (for the map and find my nearest), imagery (image search) and you can post updates just like in social media (image, copy and link), to updating opening times during celebration periods and adding new products and services, there is even a shop function. Your profile can connect via display icons to your social channels, this is the place you'll see Google reviews.
Basically, it's what you see on the bottom right if you type a company name into the Google search bar.
I am an advocate of this, you'll be able to see how many people have visited your business profile each month. I do believe scheduling tools are working towards being able to connect and schedule posts to business profile, I think a couple might even be there.
How to give admin access to your Google Business Profile
Note: Your VA must have a Google/Gmail account set up to become an admin on your profile.
Step 1: Login to your Google profile - you probably already are - if you can see your logo in the Chrome bar at the top, you're logged in.
Step 2: Open a new window
Step 3: Click those 9 dots on the right
Step 4: Click the blue market stall Business Profile icon
Step 5: Choose the business profile from your list - you might only have one
Step 6: The screen will pop up with your profile - looks for the three vertical dots in the middle of the page - click on them
Step 7: Choose business profile settings
Step 8: Managers
Step 9: Add your VA using their Google email address
Step 10: Use this time to remove any admins/managers who no longer need access
Job done! On to the next one!
